How to Get alot of Money and Success in Red Dead Redemption 2 Online
Red Dead Redemption 2 is one beautiful game and the online part of the game is one of the best features. To get a lot of money and success in this game you must learn certain tricks and features that the game has. Some of these money and skill makers include some game modes, certain things you must acquire to play properly and things you must purchase and upgrade within the game to maximize profits and stats.
When Just Starting Out in Online Mode
If you already started out skip to another paragraph unless you could use this information.
When first starting out you will be given a bit of money which only may be like $25 to $30. With that money you can open your catalog by holding left on the d-pad which your d-pad is the directional pad to the left of your controller. Once you hold left on the d-pad you open up the catalog. You then go to horses and Tack and you go to horse care and purchase a horse brush.
After you purchase a horse brush you will back out and go to ammunition. If you don’t know what guns you have exit out of the catalog so you can hold L1 and check what guns you have. If you have guns that you purchased already you could always go to your horse and scroll through all your weapons or your camp weapon load out at your campsite.
You go to ammunition from your catalog and purchase ammunition for the guns that you currently have. Since you probably only have a little bit of money you purchase just a few rounds of ammunition purchases. Ammunition and it costs $0.40 to $0.60 per few dozens of rounds most of the time. Once you purchase your ammunition then you back out of the catalog.
Once you’re out of your catalog you go to your lock box at camp. If you don’t have your camp or someone else’s camp where you’re in someone’s Posse then you go to the post office where you can pick up all of your deliveries. You can pick up the deliveries from the catalog and all letters sent to you at the post office. You could do that easily by going to the lock box at Camp also. The post office will be somewhere on the map and to bring up the map obviously you press the start menu or options button and go to map to find the post office.
Once you get the ammunition and you have the horse brush then your really far as it is and now you can do other things for example go hunting and play game modes for money and skills progression.
Now to Make Money
To make money in Red Dead Redemption 2 you can do a few things to make a lot of money. Number one you can do a role which can be something like trader, collector, Bounty Hunter and things like that. To do one of those roles you have to have 10 to 15 gold but we’ll get to that in a second. You don’t need to purchase gold because in the next sentence I’m going to tell you how to get gold and cash. To get gold and cash easily you go to quick join by pressing left on the d-pad then you go to Quick join then you go to something like take over series or shootout series and that is very fun to do, make sure you have ammunition and that your guns are cleaned and have some food like canned food for battle. You can also take pelts/skins to the butcher in town or to Cripps at your camp. Cripps will be at your camp and the butcher will be in town. If you do not have Crips yet it is because you need the trader role unlocked. In order to unlock Trader you need to read the letter that Cripps sent you and do the mission, you also need 10 to 15 gold to unlock trader. Skinned carcasses, full carcasses and skins and mostly any kind of thing from an animal can be sold to the butcher. Cripps at Camp if you have the trader can only take full carcasses not skinned carcasses. Cripps takes skins and mostly every other part of the animal. You can sell animal pelts and things to the butcher for pretty decent money but Cripps and the trader role will give you the most money in the game basically.
How to make a lot of money in Red Dead Redemption 2 online
You can get a lot of gold and cash by doing take over series or shootout series from Quick join from your left on d-pad. After you get 10 or 15 gold I would get the trader Role which gives you the most money in the game. You can also get Bounty Hunter Role after Trader Role and then you can get Collector Role, Naturalist Role and Moonshiner Role. The Trader will probably give you the most bang for your buck and the most money you can make.
A basic rule of thumb
A basic thing to know is that pressing options or the start menu and going to player you can see your character or your horse so you can see if you’re hungry or see if you need to clean your horse or if your temperature is fair or cold. In cold weather you need to dress warm and in warm weather you need to dress lighter. If your guy is underweight he needs to eat more if your guy is overweight you need to eat less.
As You’re Building Money and Skills
You definitely want to get the bolt action rifle as soon as possible and have that equipped along with a shotgun after that equipped as your secondary. You should have a bolt action rifle and a shotgun and then your pistols equipped. You can dual wield pistols at level 24. You can upgrade your camp at the Wilderness Outfitters from your stew pot and your fire pit all the way up to having your own dog and owning a fast travel station at camp.
When you get enough money from doing quick join, take over series or shootout series you can purchase a better horse, upgrade your weapons, upgrade your camp and wagon for your Trader and cosmetics for your camp. Make sure you purchase canned foods for fights so you can easily eat some canned foods in a fight and heal.

That’s how to get alot of money and success in Red Dead Redemption 2 online, you do quick join, take over series and shoot out series, you also sell animal pelts to the butcher or to Crips and you do Trader role to maximize earnings. There’s plenty of side missions and side quests and a lot of different missions you can do to make money. This is just some of the main ways that a lot of people make good money with. This is what I found works the best myself so you can take my advice and you can also research yourself and find out. Adios amigo.
